Eververse changes.

  • On 9/17 All Eververse armor (new and armor you’ve already acquired) is being converted into Universal Ornaments These can be attached to any post-Shadowkeep Legendary armor. Bright Dust is now earned from Vanguard/Crucible/Gambit bounties, not dismantling things you spent money on Eververse Items can now be pulled from your Collections with Glimmer/Legendary Shards instead of Bright Dust
  • Before 9/17: Dismantle all of your unused Eververse items to maximize your Bright Dust reserves Seriously, build up the bankroll. Dump the Shaders you are just sitting on because later this year you can reacquire them for Legendary Shards and Glimmer
  • Your current Eververse armor will still be there to use if you like. (Reddit) Nothing in your inventory is going to be automatically dismantled. (Reddit)
  • You will only get Bright Dust from items dismantled before 9/17. Also if you dismantle something you still want, you will need to use Bright Dust to pull it out of Collections before 9/17 and Glimmer/Legendary Shards to pull it out after 9/17. (Reddit)
  • You can dismantle the Eververse gear that you already have acquired and they will be available as ornaments this Fall. (Reddit)
  • Any players, including First Light players will have access to Armor 2.0 sets and can apply Universal Ornaments to the new sets. (Forums)
